Mahabodhi Temple – The Mahabodhi Temple is another important tourist spot in Bihar. Located in Bodh Gaya, it marks the spot where Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment and became known as the Buddha. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the tallest stupa in the world.

Bodhgaya – Bodhgaya is one of the four most sacred sites in Buddhism and is known as the place of enlightenment. Nearby, travelers can explore the enchanting Mahabodhi Temple, as well as many other stupas and monasteries in the area.

Rajgir – Also known as Rajgriha, Rajgir is another must-visit spot for travelers flocking to Bihar. Originally home to the ancient city of the same name, it is now the site of many important Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage sites, including the famous Vishwa Shanti Stupa. 

Takht Sri Patna Sahib – For Sikh pilgrims who come to explore the beauty of Bihar, Takht Sri Patna Sahib is a must-visit. It is the birthplace of the 10th Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh, and has many holy sites and relics related to the Sikh faith. 

Kesariya Stupa – Located in the Champaran district of Bihar, Kesariya Stupa is one of the tallest stupas in the world. Built by emperor Ashoka and standing over 54 metres in height, it is an impressive monument that stands as a reminder of the glorious days of the former Mauryan Empire.
