History buffs can visit places like Ashok Pillar, Dhamekh Stupa, the Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, and the Chinese temple here.


Kushinagar is a place of importance in the Buddhist Circuit as this is the spot where Lord Buddha is said to have attained his Nirvana. Pilgrims can explore places like the Parinirvana temple, Ramabhar Stupa, and Mathakuar shrine here.
