India is home to some of the finest revered Buddhist sites, creative architectures, and imperial sculptures. The sacred journey through the Buddhist sites continues at Nalanda, which is an ancient university featuring ruins that reflect the grandeur of the bygone era. Religious people can visit places like Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Venuvana Stupa, Nalanda Archaeological Museum, and Hiuen Tsang memorial hall here.


One of the most important Buddhist sites is located in Sarnath, which is known for the glorious temples and beautiful monument created in the honor of Lord Buddha by the rulers of the past. History buffs can visit places like Ashok Pillar, Dhamekh Stupa, the Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, and the Chinese temple here.


Kushinagar is a place of importance in the Buddhist Circuit as this is the spot where Lord Buddha is said to have attained his Nirvana. Pilgrims can explore places like the Parinirvana temple, Ramabhar Stupa, and Mathakuar shrine here.
