India has always been known as the centre of educational excellence and is the perfect destination for any student looking to gain knowledge and explore their education. With its vast range of attractions and landmarks, India is an ideal spot for educational exploration. From the ancient university of Nalanda to the modern wonders of technology in the IT cities of Bangalore and Hyderabad, educational tourism in India can give insight into a wide variety of disciplines. In this presentation, we will explore the top educational tourism hotspots and all they have to offer.

#2 Nalanda

The first stop on our educational tour of India is the ancient university of Nalanda. Said to be one of the world's oldest universities, Nalanda was a centre for Buddhist studies and a world-renowned centre of learning from the 5th to the 12th centuries. It boasts a library of over 9 million volumes and a complex that covers over 16 hectares. Students can explore its ruins and learn about the university's rich history and contribution to education in India.

#3 Calcutta

Next on our educational tour is the city of Calcutta (Kolkata). Home to India's oldest and most prestigious educational institute, the University of Calcutta, Kolkata has long been known as the "cultural capital" of India. The city is home to the largest research-based library in the country, with over 10 million books, and is known for its diverse range of educational institutions. Visitors can explore the university's many faculties, such as engineering, technology, and medicine.

#4 Bangalore

Our third stop is Bangalore, which has recently become known as India's answer to Silicon Valley of the East. It's one of India's fastest growing cities and is renowned for its technology industry and innovative startups. We recommend taking a peek into some of the tech companies based out of Bangalore to gain an understanding of how technology can be used to drive economic growth. International students can also explore some of the many leading universities in Bangalore, such as Indian Institute of Technology, the Indian Institute of Management, and the National Institute of Advanced Studies.

#5 Hyderabad

Our last stop on this educational tour is the city of Hyderabad. This city is home to many premier educational institutions, such as the Indian School of Business, the University of Hyderabad, and Osmania University. Many prominent tech companies have their headquarters here, so it's an ideal place for students to explore the intersection of technology and business. Hyderabad also offers a unique blend of history and culture, with its many ancient monuments and vibrant culture.
